HISTORY

Since the Christian population of Kuniamuthur was increasing and Kovai Pudur being far away, a new site was bought and a church in honour of Divine Mercy (The first church of our Diocese in His Honour) was constructed by Fr. Lourdu lrudaya Raj and it was blessed by Bishop Ambrose on 14-9-2001. At present the Divine Mercy Church is looked after by a priest incharge who is residing at Bishop’s House and going to say Mass and he looks after the spirtual needs of the faithful.
